When you signed up for service, we were required to provide a backup power source regardless of whether the backup power source served a purpose or not.
Since then regulations have changed. We no longer have to provide a backup power source, and the batteries we placed have begun to reach their end of life. Often, this will cause an interruption in service.
To avoid a service interruption, we created video and written instructions to walk you through removing your battery. As a thank you for returning the battery to our office for recycling, we are offering a $10 account credit!
