Thanks to you: Liberty Communications named a Smart Rural Community.

Liberty Communications is excited to announce that we have been named a Smart Rural Community by the NTCA (the Rural Broadband Association). The NTCA’s Smart Rural Community award is given to telecommunications companies that build broadband networks throughout their service areas, and provide technological innovation to the residents and businesses there.

Liberty’s Fiber Internet network in West Liberty and West Branch has earned us the Smart Rural Community designation, and we could not have done this without you, our customers. Our communities inspire us to be better and better. The towns we serve are full of people who are our friends and neighbors, and we are motivated to provide the best services possible to you. We want the best for you because we want the best for our community. Your support makes all the difference. Together, we are a Smart Rural Community.

The NTCA defines a Smart Rural Community as one that “uses broadband networks to enable applications that the community can leverage for innovative economic development and commerce, blue-ribbon education, first-rate health care, cutting-edge government services, robust security and more efficient energy distribution and use.” Liberty Communications strives every day to live up to this definition, by providing the homes and businesses in West Liberty and West Branch with forward-looking broadband technology.
